4-Acre Secure Dog Field Near Kidderminster, Hartlebury & Stourport
4 Acres With a 1.8m Tall Fence
Away from busy roads with lovely views towards Hartlebury and the Abberley Hills, our enclosed field is 4-acres in size and the fence is just shy of 6-feet tall (180cm) with very small grid apertures (5cm x 10cm). There’s also an additional 1-foot of fence buried in the ground to help keep the diggers in. If your dog can jump a 180cm fence, then our field won’t be suitable for them I’m afraid.
Secure In-Field Parking
Our secure in-field parking (one car only) means you can drive into the field, secure the gate behind you, then open your boot and let your dog(s) loose. No need to worry about putting them on a lead to reach the field. There’s also an additional parking area with space for two cars for waiting or if you come in a group.
Doggy Enrichment Equipment
Some simple enrichment equipment including two 3-meter tunnels, tractor tyres, bales, weaving poles, small jumps and a sand pit (filled with children’s play sand) will provide your dogs with plenty of entertainment. Please note that this equipment is for dogs only, not humans.
Trainspotting
There’s a train line that runs parallel to the bottom of our field. This is great if your dogs enjoy a chase like ours do, but if your dogs are very nervous around trains then our field might not be suitable. However, they are not usually very loud, and they are often slow moving due to the proximity to Hartlebury Station.
Open 7 Days Per Week
Light and weather permitting, we will be open 7 days per week from 7 am until 9 pm (last booking 8 pm). Winter hours will be shorter. Our current opening times can be found here. Our field is within easy reach of Kidderminster, Hartlebury, Stourport, Droitwich and Worcester.
XL Bully Types & Banned Breeds
I’m afraid we don’t allow any banned dog breeds in our field. This includes XL Bullies, Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero and cross breed types.
Our Field Etiquette
- Never enter the field when someone else is in there. If you are early please wait in the parking area for them to leave first. Dogs should be kept in your car until you can enter the field.
- Please pick up after your dog. Nobody likes treading in dog poo let alone seeing their dog eat it. Poo bags and bins are provided. No excuse really.
- Please don’t allow your dogs to dig anywhere other than in the sandpit. If they do dig a sneaky hole please use the spade provided in the shelter to fill it back in. Holes are trip hazards.
- Sorry, XL Bully types and other banned breeds are not allowed in our field.
- Never leave your dog in the field unattended. We can highly recommend Deansford Kennels if you require day care or a longer stay.
- Please keep both gates to the field closed at all times.
- Please keep children off all of the equipment in the field, it’s for dogs only.

About Perry Dog Field
Perry Dog Field is a 4-acre secure dog field located near to Kidderminster, Hartlebury and Stourport in Worcestershire.
We are a family run business and also a farm diversification project stemming from the financial challenges of farming today.
The idea for the dog field was born after Tim was looking for somewhere to safely and securely exercise his reactive German Shepherd Frank.
Well aware of the difficulties that owners of reactive dogs face on their daily walks, our field has been created to allow both dogs and owners to enjoy their time together without stress or worry.
Of course, it’s not only reactive dogs that can enjoy our field, it’s also perfect for dog training or simply exercising your dog in a safe, fun, and enclosed environment.
